I Know My Biography Better Than I Know Myself.
A diagnosis, a law degree, a career, books, testimony and a public voice can describe my life without answering who is living it.
Ask me who I am and I immediately begin behaving like a lawyer who suspects the question contains a trap.
I want definitions. Relevant time period? Admissible evidence? Are we discussing the public record, the private version or the man answering before coffee? If this is under oath, I would also like the word ‘am’ clarified, because it seems to be doing dangerous amounts of work.
